Matteo Gabbia has formally joined Villarreal, the place he’ll play for a season.

Gabbia struggled for minutes at Milan final season and the participant, along with the membership, determined to ship him on mortgage for the 2023/24 marketing campaign, and immediately his transfer turned official.

“Milan can verify that Matteo Gabbia has joined Villarreal CF on mortgage, till 30 June 2024. The Membership wish to want Matteo all the perfect for the approaching season,” an announcement on Milan’s web site reads.

Gabbia grew up within the youth sector of Milan and he made his debut for the Rossoneri in August 2017. He performed 51 video games in all competitions for Milan, scoring 1 objective. The middle again will look to get constant enjoying time in Spain and return to Pink and Black stronger.
