Every week a panel of media members, horseplayers, and Breeders’ Cup World Championships officers launch a ballot tabulating their votes on the nation’s prime contenders for the 2023 Longines Breeders’ Cup Traditional.  Forte assumed the No. 1 rating this week after Cody’s Want misplaced the Whitney Stakes Aug. 5 at Saratoga Race Course. White Abarrio, the winner of the Whitney, strikes to No. 2 within the ballot, whereas Cody’s Want, who now’s unlikely to level to the Breeders’ Cup Traditional, stays within the ballot at No. 6.

The rankings are decided by every voter rating their prime 10 horses with factors assigned on a descending 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 foundation. The rankings will probably be up to date every week by means of Oct. 10. The outcomes of the most recent ballot are under.
