LUCENA CITY – A girl pedestrian and a bike rider died in separate accidents in Quezon province on Saturday, July 29, police stated.
Quezon police, in a report Sunday, July 30, stated that motorcyclist Rommel Medrano, 36, and his again rider, Merriam Castillo, 31, had been traversing the Maharlika Freeway in Barangay (village) Madlandungan in Calauag city round 10 p.m. when the motive force all of the sudden misplaced management of the car after he stepped on the brake as a result of tough pavement.
The wayward bike consequently slid and threw off the riders who landed on the pavement.
Each victims sustained accidents and had been taken to the closest hospital, however Medrano was declared useless on arrival.
In the meantime, in Catanauan city, Mila De Gala, 54, died after a Toyota Hilux pick-up pushed by Mark Kaven Rogel, 34, by chance hit her whereas she was crossing a nationwide street in Barangay Matandang Sabang Silangan round 6:35 a.m.
De Gala, who suffered grave head accidents, died on the spot.
Rogel was positioned beneath police custody.
